Acknowledgements

The creative work presented on this site is the result of the skill and craftsmanship of the entire team here at Bovard Studio both past and present. I especially would like to acknowledge the contribution of two of our designers, Sandor Feher and Joe McManis, who conceived the design layout for this book and prepared much of the art work for pre-press. I also would like to express my gratitude and appreciation to my publisher and editor. Randy Wardell’s sharp pen and keen eye added many improvements to this book.

Bovard Studio’s fabulous glass painters and designers are an inspiration to watch. Working with our artists I have gained a personal insight into how the studio system of artists, working in groups, resulted in the flowering of Renaissance art. I want to thank all our highly skilled craftspeople and our administrative staff who have devoted their life to this ancient tradition. They have created new stained glass art and have made a significant contribution to the preservation of our stained glass heritage through the repair and restoration of thousands of windows in religious sanctuaries, courthouses, state capitol buildings, libraries, hospitals, universities, and museums throughout the United States and abroad. Finally, everyone at Bovard Studio would like to express our gratitude and appreciation to our clients for the privilege of creating and preserving their stained glass heritage.
